Hello
Szymon,

Thank you for providing this wonderful wpa_supplicant modification! I created a small app that allows users to mod their rooted Android device without having to go through all the trouble of mounting, chmod, etc. Apparently it uses your modded wpa_supplicant.
I hope you are ok with that. Anyway, if anyone wants to try it out, please go to the Android Market: https://market.android.com/details?id=nl.arendmedia.wifiadhocenabler
A direct download is available here: http://www.arenddeboer.com/wifi-ad-hoc-enabler-for-android/

I'm with Will..., I have a jailbroken iphone with an app that sets up an adhoc network, but my tablet, a Sony S, does not see the device.

How do I implement the patch?

I have an RK2918 tablet running on Android 4.0.3. Could you roughly outline the steps for me to compile a wpa_supplicant binary (ICS branch) from your source code? Is it even possible? What do I need to create the development environment? Thanks.
